Operator History

Continental Charters was a Miami-based non-scheduled airline founded in 1947. It received its AOC on 4 September of that year. On 29 December 1951, the company lost a Commando operating a revenue passenger flight between Miami, FL and Buffalo, NY, with the loss of 26 lives. It is likely that the airline closed down following that tragedy.
