Fairchild-Hiller entered a trade-in agreement with Paraense Transportes Aereos of Brazil in the late 1960's: Paraense turned in its remaining Commando fleet to Fairchild in exchange for six brand new FH-227 turboprops. Fairchild-Hiller managed to sell back some of these used Commandos to other operators, while the fate of some others is unknown.
