Madden & Playford was an aircraft sales, finance and leasing company. It was founded on 19 April 1956 by a Mart A. Madden and Harry R. Playford of St Petersburg, FL. Playford ran several companies offering non-chedules cargo services using Lockheed Lodetars and Douglas DC-3s.

Over the years, Madden & Playford was involved in the purchase, leasing and resale - especially to Latin America - of Lodestars, DC-3s, DC-4s and Commandos.
