Operator History

NATS was founded by R. Paul Weesner in 1945, and started operations in February 1946. It had contracts with the US Department of Agriculture to fly workers from the Caribbeans to the USA. It was also used by the US Immigration & Naturalization Service to fly deportees back to Latin American countries. NATS was acquired by Resort Airlines in 1951.
