2 August 1943

Assigned to ATC India-China Wing, 1st Transport Group, 3rd Transport Squadron based in Chabua, Assam, India.

26 August 1943

Received major damage in Chabua, Assam, India when it struck parked Commando 41-24647 while landing.

Received major damage in Kunming, Yunnan, China in a taxi accident.

27 October 1943

Received major damage in Chabua, Assam, India in a landing accident.

Damaged beyond repair in Mohanbari, Assam, India during a crash landing.

From here, it seems the Commando was shipped back to the USA, repaired, and reinstated. Otherwise, there might be a confusion and the following events happened to another airframe.

Assigned to the 2nd Combat Cargo Group, 7th Combat Cargo Squadron, newly formed at Syracuse AAB, NY.

27 September 1944

Damaged beyond repair in Utica, NY in a landing accident.
