Assigned to ATC India-China Wing based at Station 6, Chabua, Assam, India.

26 February 1944

Went missing over the China-Burma-India theatre (6/24 fatalities). [MACR 2715]

The Commando was operating a flight between Chabua, Assam, India and Kunming, Yunnan, China with 3 crewmembers and 21 passengers. It crashed for unknown reasons in India. The entire crew perished, along with three passengers. The wreckage was later reported to have been found.
