8 January 1945

Assigned to ATC India-China Division, 1333rd AAF Base Unit based in Chabua, Assam, India.

Christened "Stork".

9 February 1945

Went missing somewhere in the China-Burma-India theatre (3/3 missing). [MACR 12026]

The Commando was operating a cargo flight between Kunming, Yunnan, China and Chabua, Assam, India with a crew of three. Weather over the Himalaya at the time was reported to be instrument conditions with high winds and turbulence. The crew and aircraft were never seen or heard from again.

Condemned for salvage, missing.
