Destroyed in Clarence Center, NY after the crew bailed out following a mechanical failure (0/8 fatalities). [date also reported as 9 January 1944]

Pilot: Raymond F. Bloszies

Enroute, an engine failed and tore lose. The crew decided to abandon the aircraft and bailed out. The Commando crashed in a prairie and was destroyed by impact forces while all crew were uninjured. The aircraft was probably conducting either a production test flight or its initial delivery flight out of nearby Buffalo, NY.
