Damaged beyond repair near Sookerating, Assam, India in an accident due to an engine failure (no fatalities).

Pilot: Hiram W. Johnson

Shortly after takeoff from Sookerating, while in the initial climb, the crew encountered technical problems with an engine. They were forced to attempt an emergency landing and the Commando came to rest in a field located 3 km north of the airfield. There were no casualties while the aircraft was written off.
