Damaged somewhere at Campo Grande, Brazil in a landing accident.

The undercarriage retracted during the landing roll.

Repaired.

3 April 1955

Damaged beyond repair at Vitoria Goiabeiras, Brazil in an approach accident (3/3 fatalities).

The Commando was positionning empty between Sao Paulo Congonhas and Vitoria Goiabeiras, Brazil with three crewmembers onboard. While flying an instrument approach at destination, the aircraft struck a hill 3 km short of the runway. The aircraft was destroyed and all occupants were killed.

This accident was one of several that participated to the downfall of Itau a few months later.
