Damaged beyond repair at Memphis, TN in a taxi accident due to a mechanical failure.

The Commando was parked at Memphis, TN when it was hit by sistership 44-77702 of the 2596th Air Force Reserve Training Center which was taxiing nearby. The latter was piloted by B. Anderson who apparently suffered a mechanical failure which led him to collide with 44-77560. Both Commandos suffered major damage, and seemingly never flew again after that accident.
