Assigned to ATC India-China Division, Assam Wing, based at the 1337th AAF Base Unit, Sookerating, Assam, India.

24 October 1944

Received major damage in Sookerating, Assam, India in a takeoff accident.

Pilot: Edmond J. Arbib (survived)

11 February 1945

Destroyed near Kunming, Yunnan, China in a midair collision.

Pilot: 1st Lt George H. Murray (killed)

The Commando collided in flight with USAAF Consolidated C-109 Liberator Express 44-49025 carrying a load of gasoline. All crews on both airplanes were apparently killed.

12 February 1945

Condemned for salvage.
