Commando Operations

Fenny was a World War II airfield mainly used as a base for B-25s during the Burma Campaign in 1944-1945. The 12th Combat Cargo Squadron also used Fenny to air drop supplies and ammunition to allied ground forces in Burma. Finally, Fenny was used as a communications station as well as an Air Technical Service Command maintenance depot. It was abandonned after the war.
