Commando Operations

RAF Ondal was a Royal Air Force station opened in January 1943. It was also used by the USAAF 10th Air Force, as a base for B-25 medium bombers. Finally, it was used by the Air Transport Command as a ferrying station on the Trans-India route to Assam. RAF Ondal was inactivated on 7 February 1945 and subsequently abandonned. Today, it has become the site of Andal Aerotropolis, a metropolis project centered around an airport.
