Commando Operations

The Air Transport Command's 3rd Operational Training Unit was headquartered at Reno AAF, with the aim to train crews to high-altitude flying. It used many Commandos, which was the aircraft many pilots would later use operationally in the mountaineous China-Burma-India theatre.
