Transcarga was founded in August 1961 by Julio Ferreyra Astrada. It went bankrupt on 8 March 1965.

Commando Operations

August 1961 to March 1965

Transcarga operated a single cargo Commando leased from Austral, which it eventually purchased in December 1963. The aircraft was repossessed by Austral in 1964, however it seems that Transcarga never actually surrendered the aircraft to them! Transcarga's bankruptcy in March 1965 eventually beat the Argentinian judge who order the aircraft auctionned only in May 1967.
