Operator History
Aerovias Monder was founded in October 1955 by Alberto L. de Ridder and E. Montal to seize the opportunities made available by airline deregulation in 1956 in Argentina. Monder was an all-cargo airline, which also worked in the business of carrying live animals, notably to the USA. In February 1957, de Ridder & Montal founded Compania Austral de Transportes Aereos, which later absorbed Aerovias Monder in December of the same year.
