Operator History

Transportes Aereos Mirleni was founded in 1958 by Captain Esteban Montal, with an initial capital of $1 million. The company targeted the cargo market, both domestic and international. It started operations with a Commando freighter fitted with special modifications to carry horses. Cargo operations to Miami were conducted between October 1958 and 1962.

Mirleni changed its name in 1963 to Aerovias Halcon SRL. By 1968, it was operating cargo flights to 21 destinations.

Operations ceased in 1970.
