Operator History

SAB started operations in 1970 with a single Commando. In March 1971, after several months without any aircraft, it purchased another Commando and a Boeing B-17.

April 1970* to 1994*

SAB started operations in April 1970 with Commando CP-914, SANIA's former CP-833 which had been severely damaged in May 1969 and then rebuilt. Unfortunately it crashed in July 1970, and was only replaced in March 1971. Additional Commandos joined the fleet throughout the 1970's.
