Operator History
LAUSA was formed in 1952 by the merger of Transportes Aereos Tampico, Aeronaves de Oaxaca and SANSA. It was renamed LAUMSA in 1962. The fleet included Douglas DC2s & DC3s, Boeing 247s and Commandos.
By 1963, LAUMSA was operating scheduled passenger flights between Mexico City and major cities in the states of Oaxaca and Guerrero. An interline agreement was struck with Trans-Texas, which fed passengers from that state across the border.
LAUMSA eventually collapsed in 1964.
Commando Operations

LAUSA purchased a single Commando in August 1957. Another one leased from R. S. McNew was added in November 1957.
