Operator History

Inair Panama was founded in 1967 and quickly became a major cargo operator in the region, using a fleet of Commandos. In 1969, it secured a permit to operate cargo flights between Panama and Miami, FL. Services to Guayaquil, Ecuador, Cali, Colombia, Lima, Peru and Manaus, Brazil were also added in 1967-1968. From 1971, the airline purchased seven DC6BFs, and all Commandos were withdrawn by 1973. Inair stopped operations in September 1984.
