Channel Air Lift
Operator History
Channel Air Lift operated non-scheduled cargo flights between Honolulu, HI and the other islands of the Hawaiian archipelago. It started off with a couple Commandos in 1966, and its fleet had grown to five of these aircraft by 1969. The fleet was grounded in August 1970 when the airline filed for bankruptcy.
Commando Operations
November 1967* to January 1972*
Channel Air Lift operated a total of five cargo Commandos. After the bankruptcy, the aircraft remained stored in Honolulu, HI before being sold one by one over the following few years.
