Operator History
C-46 Parts was founded on 26 August 1955 by Michael Lojinger as one of Miami's many propliners broker. Throughout its existence, it dedicated its activity to purchasing surplus Commandos, which were eventually sold to airline operators after refurbishment or broken up for parts. Most C-46 Parts customers were in the Caribbean and Latin America. With the number of operating Commandos worldwide slowly dwindling, C-46 Parts closed down on 11 October 1991, with its remaining spares stock purchased by Cliff Everts of Everts Air Fuel, Fairbanks, AK.
Commando Operations

C-46 Parts was one of the worlds greatest Commando brokers and spare parts provider. It was noted for acquiring many of the surplus USAF Commandos sold at the January and March 1965 auctions at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.
