Florida National Airways
Operator History
Florida National Airways (FNA) was a non-scheduled airline operating from Fort Lauderdale, FL and founded by Joel Ribler. FNA operated a Commando in the mid-1970's, and later a Douglas DC3. On 10 May 1978, FNA's Air Operator Certificate and Ribler's ATP license were revoked by court order after Ribler flew a charter passenger flight with the DC3 overweight, without seats nor seat belts, and eventually ran out of fuel. It is unlikely that the company remained in operation after that event.
