Operator History
The 37th TCS was formed in July 1942 from the redesignation of the 37th Transport Squadron constituted five months earlier. It belonged to the 316th Troop Carrier Group during all of its existence, and its history matched that of the group (which see). Aircraft of the 37th TCS wore designation W7 on the nose.
