1945 military subtype, essentially a dedicated freighter version of the C-46A.

234 Commandos produced for the USAAF

Possibly several Commandos converted to C-46F standard both in the military and on the civilian market.

The C-46F was the dedicated cargo version of the C-46A. Specifications were essentially the same, except a single cargo door on each side of the fuselage and squared wingtips.
