Damaged beyond repair at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH in ground collision.

The Commando was parked at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH when it was hit by Boeing RB-17G Flying Fortress 44-85603 of the 91st Reconnaissance Wing operated by Charles M. Hall. The B-17 had seemingly suffered a mechanical failure that led to the collision. Both airplanes were damaged beyond repair.

Reclamation authorized.
