Operator History
CLTM was a subsidiary of Bellomy-Lawson Aviation of Miami, FL, set up in the Netherland Antilles with the aim of conducting air cargo operations within the Caribbean. On 30 December 1971, CLTM applied to the US CAB for a permit to conduct charter cargo flights between the Netherlands Antilles and San Juan, PR & Miami, FL. Despite protests by Pan Am and ALM Dutch Antillean Airlines that CLTM was only a screen company for Bellomy-Lawson, and that its proposed 4-weekly charter cargo flight to the US would be similar to scheduled operations, the aforesaid permit was granted for 3 years on 21 February 1973.
CLTM's fleet seems to have been composed essentially of Douglas DC6s and Commandos. The company's fate is unknown.
