Operator History

Christopher Columbus High School is a Catholic institution ran by the Marist Brothers. It opened in 1958 with just two and a half buildings and an enrollment of approximately 150 students. The Marist Brothers assumed the direction of the school in 1959. Throughout the years the school expanded, adding new buildings, facilities and programs. From 1970, the school operated it own flying club, owning several light aircraft.
