Commando Operations
1947* to 1958*
Westair operations started in July 1948 using a Commando acquired in June 1947, later supplemented by another one leased from the USAF. The fleet reached its peak in 1956 with four or five units, while only three remained in 1958 and zero in 1964. Some of the aircraft were owned through a third party called the Aviation Corporation of Seattle.
