The 34^th Troop Carrier Squadron, a WWII Douglad C-47 Skytrain squadron, was redesignated 34^th Troop Carrier Squadron, Medium on 23 May 1952 and reactivated. It was now part of the Far East Air Forces, 315^th Troop Carrier Group, Medium, operating the Curtiss C-46D Commando from Brady AB, Japan. As a combat resupply and transport squadron during the Korean War, it provided aerial transportation between Japan and Korea. The Squadron was inactivated on 18 January 1955.
